MISSION STATEMENT FOR HJWT WOMEN IN TRANSITION

The mission of Have Justice--Will Travel -- Women in Transition is for each member of the group to learn to take care of herself and feel that she can stand on her own feet without being dependent on others. By learning to turn the coping skills she used to survive the abuse into strengths to improve her life and her children's lives she will help other women who have left abusive situations and also contribute to stopping the generational cycle of abuse in her family.

VISION STATEMENT FOR HJWT WOMEN IN TRANSITION

The vision of Have Justice--Will Travel -- Women in Transition is for the group members to mentor and assist other members become socially, economically, and psychologically independent and self-reliant. This type of support, given with guidance from group leaders, can make a difference and improve women's lives without enabling them to dependent on others.
