The mission of Have Justice--Will Travel -- Vermont is to serve as a sucessful working program model for other HJWT models that will be implemented throughout rural America.

VISION STATEMENT FOR HJWT VERMONT MODEL

The vision of Have Justice--Will Travel - Vermont is to provide legal, cultural, psychological, geographical. and economic services to rural Vermont victims of family violence, therby, stopping the generational cycle of abuse and helping victims so they will not be forced to return to an abusive situation. Instead they will gain safety and self-respect and grow to become independent and self-reliant. In turn, they will contribute to the termination of generational abuse by demonstrating to their own children that violence is not acceptable and by making a difference in other women and children's lives who are victims of family violence.
